NDP vs NDP
Right after Avi Lewis was elected as leader of the federal NDP, provincial NDP leaders from Alberta and Saskatchewan voiced concerns.
Were they just mad that Avi won?
Probably.
Do they have reason to have some concern?
Absolutely.

The NDP finally having a leader who is anti-capitalist is the best thing that could have happened. Canadian workers are exploited, and many of are poor, corporations are hideously wealthy & corrupt, the cost of living is exorbitant, we've needed someone willing to speak out against these things and do something as well for a very long time.
Agree on the separation between province and nation at a party level and agree there’s a lot of fucking work to do. Federally, we need a party that’s going to keep pushing for more social, more environmental, more reconciliation activities. That’s their job. And if it rankles Alberta and Saskatchewan, I’m ok with it, so long as there are plans for workers.
