Being awful is a choice.
With the tragedy that unfolded this week, we saw a lot of really gross things happen on social media.
But one of the most surprising things that didn’t happen was Pierre Poilievre jumping in.
Don’t get me wrong. This doesn’t exonerate him from all the other craptastic things he’s done.
But in a moment where the country was hurting, he made a choice. To not go down the road of some alt, right, alt wrong social media pariahs.

I can’t help but believe that PP was putting on a show of sincerity. Frankly I don’t trust him. His last twenty years of showing Canadians how insincere and uncaring he really is leads me to believe that he performed for the media. He doesn’t really care about Canada or Canadians. And he certainly doesn’t care about the tragedy that occurred in Tumbler Ridge.
